6 days into the new year, the holiday isn't over, but the date is set that we'll have the biggest surprise/ shock of our lives yet. Before the anxiety attack kicks in again and before the impending date momentarily arrives, it would be appropriate that I update the outside world on how pleasant or not my life has been. (Many touchy posts are friends only, sorry).
Now, I'm completely enthralled that I'm gonna get to meet the 40 other people whom I've longed to see since the day secondary school became a thing of the past, yet, I'm aware of the disappointment I may encounter on Monday. Calvin says it's absurd that someone like me (who, apparently, doesn't have to study to attain good results) has to worry at all for the results. No. Prelim was just sheer luck and a little brain juice squeezed. It's unbearable how people don't understand that, I'm afraid of that familiar disappointment which ate me 4 years back. Ain says I can make it, and JC should've been on my bucket list. She says, it's like my thing. I lack that confidence in myself and now, only God can help me. (Oh and for the record, going to poly IS the only thing on my mind now, if you know me, you should know how awesome my impure geography was)
Faith.
Digressing, my dog is the best, we go on walks together and he doesn't need the leash. Ah well, he's old la but he's extremely considerate for a dog. How much will you pay for such a pal?
Anyway. Finally watched Sherlock Holmes, which was awsm but I thought that Rupert Downey's face appeared too much and Jude Law is just way awsm. Thaaaaaank you Aaron bby! Job hunting with Yan Fang tomorrow and museum with Calvin (No, Calvin is not THAT artistic, he just got forced into it by me) on Friday. HAH, Ain must be shocked to find out I survived without them.

Alright,school has started and one week is almost over.which means that there is: -
5 more weeks to Term Test;
6 more weeks to CNY and;
7 more weeks to Semestral Exam!!
yeah so this sounds scary and i'm gonna study during chinese new year!nice one! :)
time passes real quickly as we calculate our days of studying in weeks.
1 week down,2 weeks down,3 weeks down etc.
and here comes our exams!(and vacation too :)
whatever it is,i shall enjoy my last term with my lovely classmates.
we're gonna be separated soon soon soon...
Oh Oh.Anyway!
Tmr is the start of SP's Open House.
It's from 7-9 Jan.
I believe it's the same as all other polytechnics.

 Oooooooooooooomygoodness, i woke up at 1:45pm and i thought it was still 7am only. HA! Well that's cause i heard my cousin's voice, and i thought it must be 7am cause she still hasn't gone to school yet. Oh but who is know, she's actually BACK from school!! -.- Okay now it's back to project work time and i still have lots of e learning to complete. Sigh!

Its so unfair! Elissa said that her brother and her had a good laugh over my dinosaur picture and that my drawing was actually worse then some the young children/toddlers she teaches at sunday school. (YES ELISSA IS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER.)
I'm not actually offended, trust me, i've heard waaaayyyy worse comments about my drawings (right camillia and edward?) and i was actually laughing when elissa was recounting the story. But i pondered over the subject as i was bathing just now. Trust me when i tell you my brain works in weird but wonderful ways.
SO ANYWAY, i was wondering WHY COULDN'T I BE BORN WITH THE ABILITY TO DRAW??? LIKE REALLY REALLY DRAW. Not silly abstract splotches of colour and/or weird like subjects but portraits of people with amazing likeness. I would adore drawing a nose and actually have it LOOK like a nose.
Miaos once likened my drawings to jumanji. Or whatever it is. But it sounded bad.
This is the drawing in question. Yes yes, laugh all you want. Sticks and stones may break my bones but words(or in this case, rude laughter) will not hurt me. (the piccy is a picture of a cup crying because "this Xmas i wish for your heart." but for is missing cos i'm dumb like that.)
Yeah, so basically, i wish i was one of those annoying lucky people that sketch/draw PEOPLE. Not weird random silly objects like what i do. (if that even constitutes as art lorh).
Its just not fair because its something you were BORN with. Art lessons may work lah but we all know its artificial uh, intelligence.
Yes i know i have other stuff that people aren't too good at. Like the fact that i can read really really fast. And speak as fast as a bullet train(one very mean NTUC cashier told me that 2 years? back. Still angry at her!) And people like to remind me about the drama lead for syf thing. BUT, i'm telling you, drama is one of the easiest things to get, you just got to have the courage to let go, stop being self conscious and throw yourself whole heartedly into whatever role you're playing.

Am quite self conscious about the picture...ANYWAY, everything above this paragraph was written a month back, way before christmas. I just didn't really post it cos i felt weird about the picture.But what the heck, i figured it was a good piece(hello, i used the word constitute leh) and that i don't really like that whole line of pictures. Imagine if i got hit by a car and the last entry i wrote was only a couple pictures that aren't even flattering!
My nails are a different colour now, to be specific,they are different colours now.

Watched avatar today. I found it draggy and the ending made me a bit mad. Don't get me wrong, i did cry at the part where they bull dozed the tree after the sex scene/set fire to the Navi's home but WHY MUST JAKE KILL ALL THOSE MILITARY PEOPLE?!
At the end of the day, jake isn't one of The People, he's an american, a human being through and through(correct phrase right?). I wish the ending was just him killing that stupid colonel and then when all the human beings see that the colonel is dead and that he has no hold over them they finally listen to their inner compassion and humanity and decided to leave the Navi alone and the Navi, as a peace offering gives them enough of the bloody rock so they can finance the cost of those humongous machines and from then onwards, both sides pretend that the other does not exist and everyone goes back to their separate lives. Happy ending! We won't have 20 helicopters being shot down and the ikran being killed(i hated this part, i loved those almost dragon creatures) AND TRUDY WOULDN'T DIE. God i loved her, she was so hot and grungy and tough. And all the other people who had to listen to the stupid colonel's orders and attack wouldn't have to die too! And the colonel shouldn't have died like that. He should have been ripped apart from all those angry souls stored inside that glowing tree (eh wah is it?). And the scene would end with him screaming nOoOoOoOooOoOO~~
But it was good lah. Like the effects and everything. The language etc...Obviously a lot of effort has been put into the movie, it shows but i still dislike the ending! >:( Needless killing, they could at least let tsutey(can't spell his name for nuts) live. OR GRACE OR NORM!!
OKAY. its 2.20 am. Wayy to early( or late depending on how you look at it) to get worked up. I have this theory that if i pretend to be all calm and stuff, i will fool my body into thinking that i'm actually sleeping. And its vital cos apparently ur body heals itself during 11pm to 2am and then more stuff about acne too which i am too lazy to put into proper, legible sentences for you.
Alrighty, i am going to read now..................chiong-ed 4 books ytd. Although they were pretty thin ones, i wanted to read as many john steinback books as i can and qiao bu qi those that only read of the mice & men. Btw, call me stupid but i don't really know the difference between novels and books. And speaking of novels, if there are novels, why must there be a novella? :/

I was damn selfish and i refused to turn unless i wanted too. Of cos it meant that more often than not, my butt would be pressed against someone else's. Probably cam cos i slept beside her. Gross mental image yes? LOLOL. |

Plain but I love it. :D I am pissed off with the stupid china girl who kicks picking on my sister, damn it. She called my sister an ass hole because she sat at the same recess table. -.-" Is there something wrong with all these convent girls? |
